Community guidelines
Matter of Record reviews exist to help people decide what to listen to, watch or read. They are about the coverage — the reporting, the storytelling, the production — and nothing else.
- Discuss the media only. Review the episode, series, film or book: how it's reported, how it's told, whether it's worth your time.
- No claims about guilt, suspects or victims. Matter of Record publishes no original claims about crimes or people, and neither do reviews.
- No personal information. Never post names, addresses, workplaces, phone numbers or anything else identifying a private individual.
- No links. Links are stripped or rejected automatically to keep reviews free of spam.
- Be brief and civil. Reviews are capped at 500 characters. Harassment and abuse are removed.
Anyone can report a review. Reported reviews are checked by a moderator and can be hidden or removed. If something needs urgent attention, email contact@matterofrecord.app.
