Former NSW police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon is on trial in the Supreme Court of New South Wales for the alleged murders of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies. Prosecutors say he shot the couple with his service pistol at Baird’s Paddington home on 19 Feb 2024 after an obsessive campaign following the end of a prior relationship with Baird, then cleaned the scene and dumped the bodies near Bungonia. He has pleaded not guilty and says the deaths followed two struggles in which he acted in self-defence. A jury was empanelled on 21 Sep 2026 before Justice Natalie Adams; the trial is expected to run for about three months and remains underway.
